So today was insane. I didn't get my usual steps in when taking the girls to the school bus. I had no time to take a walk at lunch because work was insane. And I wasn't going to the gym because after 4 days of running or brisk walking (see yesterday's post), my body is asking for a break.
But nowhere near my steps goal, I went for a walk in the neighborhood. A slow, "old people" style walk. Killed me not to track mileage. Rough to go so slowly. Hard to take it easy and just walk for the sake of walking.
And my right shin and calf that were barking at me this morning are still a bit sore.
But I got my 10,000 steps in, dammit. 24 days and counting.
