Thoughts/Comments: Wow, it's nice having the treadmill set up at home b/c there are absolutely NO GOOD EXCUSES as to why I can't run. And at 5:30 in the morning, I'm a bit too groggy to even think about any (other than sleep, I suppose.) Anyhoo...it was a great run, thanks to the Florida State Marching Band's performance to other schools' fight songs, and a few new songs I downloaded (uploaded?) from wayyyy back in my day, back when I used to go roller skating. A little Joan Jett "I Love Rock-n-Roll" will make any girl feel like one bad a$$ chic! And then John Cougar's "Jack and Diane". And then a few new ones...good stuff. I ended the run, the last tenth of a mile with a 7mph sprint, ala Biggest Loser, although when they do it, I think they hit double digits. Me thinks not!
Anyhoo, the bigger lesson of the day is perseverance! LAST NIGHT, after weeks of nonsense, Zoe slept in her toddler bed the ENTIRE night. It was glorious! We celebrated with high fives, loud cheering and an extra sippy cup of chocolate milk! Woo hoo!!!!!
