I haven't run since Wednesday but...

...I have gotten daughter #1 through two 3-hour dress rehearsals and four performances of The Nutcracker, and daughter #2 to one dress rehearsal and two performances.

Jada, Party Scene Child, Act 1, The Nutcracker

Zoe, Carol of the Bells, Pre-Ballet Holiday Show

Back to a slightly normal schedule tomorrow. Well, not just yet. I'm heading to Washington D.C. tomorrow for one day, and have two proposals due this week...but whatever...

UGH! What a weekend!

I will keep the details brief:

Friday
-clean, Clean, CLEAN!

Saturday-WW weigh in...I won't complain I won't complain I wont complain, a loss is a loss is a loss.

-Jada's ballet class (morning). Rush rush rush, last minute details prepared. Party prep and stress in full effect. Jada's afternoon Holiday Show ballet rehearsal. Zoe's birthday party. 18 kids, 17 adults.

Sunday-Cookie order for 100 cookie favors. Delivered by noon. And finally a chance to relax, FOOTBALL for the remainder of the day.

I'm in the bed, halfway paying attention to this Steelers-Patriots game, and sort of thinking I should hop on the treadmill for a few. Hmmm. Watch the box on the right and see if something shows up for 11/14...

The Unthinkable

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Motherhood caught up with me. The Hot Chocolate 15K, sponsored by Hershey was today. But alas, I was not there for the run nor the "chocolate heaven" that was laid out for participants afterwards. My mom was supposed to take the girls overnight last night, and this was going to work out great b/c hubby works most Sundays at the church, with the first Sunday of each month being the most hectic. Long story short, my mom "called in sick," and my stand-in babysitter couldn't b/c....you guessed it, she was running also. So let's just say I encouraged 4 people to run (Annah--who ran 9+ miles in 1:22:and some change-daaaaaaaaaaaang!), Melba, Sheena and Nicole) and no-showed. AND I was supposed to also meet up with other fellow runners Lou and Angela--and no-showed. I suck, and as a chocolate lover, I'm sad.

And on another mommy note, I'm off to visit WebMD. Zoe has mysterious spots on her hands and feet. Uh-oh.
