Inaugural Harlem Half Marathon and serial scammer Mark Anthony Jenkins

So...just as I suspected, the Inaugural Historic Harlem Half Marathon by race organizer Mark Anthony Jenkins is NOT going to happen. I suspected this early on for completely different reasons, but totally missed any clues that part of this was due to his past scams/shenanigans such as scamming people on trips to the inauguration or an off broadway play. So in response to a post on the race Facebook page I posted the article...and was effectively banned. Banned or he shut the page down, I suppose. Luckily, not before I took a TON of screenshots...intuitive thinking. ;) Blog post coming soon...

Here's the notification of its cancellation, website screen grab dated 3/9/15:

Thanks for providing all that information. Sounds like Metro Race Management is on the ball...I wonder how long they've been in business...

Oh, well maybe they're registered in New Jersey then.

Hmmm, now that's weird. I'll keep investigating. But anyway, more to come. And there is something to be learned here, friends. There should be a "top ten list" of good race characteristics or something.
