Something told me "rest your calf." But do you know why I ran? Because it was either that or go to the gym and do strength training, and the thought of going there, driving down that crowded @$$ street, waiting for machines, etc...it just seemed too much. Plus I could run while it was still light out, which is not an option tomorrow morning at 5am.
Every step hurt, it only got a little better over the duration. I questioned how on earth will I do 20 miles later this week.
With rest, stretching, foam rolling, etc. I shoulda just rested today. Meh.
