The axis of evil

The "cracker aisle" at a grocery store near you. An unnecessary food, really.

I had been craving Ritz crackers in particular. It's ok, I lied to myself, I'll get some and just eat a serving or two. (Yeah, since when has THAT ever happened.)

And then I did the math:

18 servings per box / 4 sleeves = 4.5 servings per sleeve, which = 360 calories per sleeve.

This means, fully knowing my behavior, 360 extra calories a night for 4 nights straight.

Put the crackers down, Lindy. Step away from the crackers.

Who eats just five crackers? Well maybe a lot of people. Just not me!

p.s. I just realized there are a TON of Triscuit flavors at this particular store. Rosemary Garlic, Black Pepper, Work Was Rough So Eat Your Way Through This Box, and probably others.

It's so unfair how easily one can eat WAY TOO MANY CALORIES. We need to invent a calorie extractor, so we can pull the extra calories out of guilty pleasures...

I would LOVE it if the nutrition info included the serving size info and the "you know you're going to eat the whole thing" info. Let's be real. lol. I think that bottles of pop (or soda if you're so inclined) now do that. The used to be for the serving, but technically there were 2.5 servings in a bottle. Um, excuse me? This is America, Pepsi Bottlers of America! You know how we roll!
