Thank you to all those who have registered for the 2009 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Although registration is closed, everyone is encouraged to be a part of the 2009 event, whether as a runner, volunteer or spectator. The Chicago Marathon is world-renowned for its dedicated volunteers, enthusiastic spectator support along the 26.2-mile course, and the best Health & Fitness Expo in the industry.
Down at the Marathon Office I'm imagining a scene of confetti, balloons dropping from the ceiling, corks popping, and a whole lot of hooting and, I suppose it's not all that dramatic, but I should think it calls for a 2-hour lunch or something.

Lindy, I am going to be hanging on your running journal. Can't wait to read how well you do and all you learn!

Thanks Jason...although I don't know if it will be ALL learning, since I already trained for a marathon before, except I really want to focus on nutrition and proper fueling pre and post running, so I suppose there will be some new stuff for me there.
