6 days away! And the production that is the Chicago Marathon had already begun. Those big white tents are already popping up around a very gated Grant Park downtown. (sure would hate to be a tourist right now--access is definitely limited.) Balbo is blocked off with no turning allowed from lakeshore drive, and soon Jackson will follow. All the marathon banners are on the light posts (although they have been for weeks.)
And yes, I'm still resting my shin. Still hurts, but not as much. Still swollen, but not as much.
Lastly, so far the weather looks fantastic! Upper 50's or low 60's as a high? SWEEEEEET!
