Apparently myself.
Do you ever have one of those moments...you see a picture of yourself, catch an unsuspecting glance of yourself in a mirror, and you do a double-take...is that ME?
Yeah, well I had one of those moments, glancing through some pictures of a friend's bridal shower the other day. (Fabulous shower, fabulous bride, fabulous food AND fabulous photographer.) But a not-so-fabulous looking me. It wasn't the angle. It wasn't the clothes I was wearing. It wasn't a shadow or bad lighting.
It was my big fat-ass thigh. All mine.
Seriously? What a waste all this running and working out is IF I'M GOING TO EAT LIKE A PIG ALL THE TIME!
Time to get it together.

I am fabulous, thank you. And I know how you feel. Sometimes I get really angsty that it's "not fair" that I work out all the freaking time and STILL have to struggle with this. We can all support each other. :) It's a journey, right?
Yes. Remember when we watched Deena Kastor eat and eat and eat and talk about how she eats 5000 calories a day when in training (and in no way am I comparing myself to the great Deena Kastor and her abilities or stamina), but man it is so unfair!
WAH WAH WAH, I know, I sound pathetic!!!
Eeek! Did I cause an internal crisis?? :-( This is 100% counter to my business philosophy.
I will e-mail you a photo of your wonderful cookies to make it up to you.....
Liz, no! I take full blame...full responsibility, but I will give you credit for helping me get my butt in gear!
I will gladly take credit for being a motivator. :o)
Sorry to hear about the ruckus at your place this weekend...hopefully you can get some good rest this week so that all will go smashingly for 10 miles on Saturday!
