So I ran today. A full two weeks off. I simply ran one mile, and on the treadmill, so that if I fell to pieces, I could do so in private. Well, I did it!!!! (Not fall to pieces, RAN THE MILE.) I ran a mile, didn't feel any pain or any thing. Got off the treadmill, stretched a few minutes, then walked a mile.
I will try another run tomorrow of two miles, and then run Tuesday and Thursday, 3 miles each, and then re-join my training group next Saturday with a 5-mile run. (this will be a stepback week for them, but not for me.)

Thanks! Update: Ran 2 miles this morning, stretched, feel good. Getting back on the cross-training/strength-training this week, too.
